Ok, so sounds like you had an interesting day looking for gas! We found out early on when we traveled in country that we did not know that we filled up even when we did not need to, and usually had a can of extra gas. The river that you rode along may be the same river that dad and I drove along on our first trip to the NW in Sept/Oct 1969. I was in awe at the beauty of MT and kept calling it a raging river. Your dad thought my term was so funny and to this day anytime I mention a river he asks me if it was a raging river. Also, on the day we were driving by this river was the first day that I felt Rob moving around in me. So I think that is why I remember it so well. ๐
