We continued moving south today and made our way back into Colorado. It’s too amazing to pass up and our choices to the east are pretty bleak. Eastern Colorado was mostly farmland but it wasn’t long before you could see the rockies. Denver was chaos, at least the highway didn’t go directly through downtown though because it could have been much worse. We ate near red rock then pushed into the mountains. We spent the rest of the day dodging storms, sitting in crazy construction traffic, or just taking in the scenery. It was a strange but good day.
We are all having a great time but know the end is coming. Our roadtrips are all ending on different days so we are going to try to spend sometime Friday to debrief. I think it will be nice to just shoot the shit when this awesome experience is still fresh in our minds.
